WILL OF FRANCIS GREAVES June 23rd 1707, died 18th September 1714.

Will of Francis Greaves the elder of  Bricklehampton in the County of  Worcester Yeoman being in health of Body and in mind and memory (thanks be to God for the same) but calling to mind the uncertainty of this life do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manor following (viz) I commit my soul into the hands of Allmighty God and my body to the Earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my executor my worldly estate.

I dispose the farm and followeth that is ? I give unto my son Francis and to my daughters Elizabeth Smith and Anne Wooton twelve pounds apiece Item I give and bequeath unto the children that I now have borne unto me of Anne my now wife and which shall be borne unto me of the said Anne my now wife the sum of thirty pounds to be equally divided between them share and share alike. Each shall receive his or her share at the age of twenty one or day of marriage respectively.

Item I do further give and appoint the sum of five pounds to ? my son John to apprenticeship at the discretion of my executor when he shall attain the age of twelve years or thereabouts

Item I give and bequeath unto the said Anne my wife and to my son Francis Greaves and to my kinsman William Weston of Charlton Yeoman five shillings apiece and do make the sayd Anne Francis my son and William Weston executors of this my last will.

The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above Counden Elizabeth Greaves the ? lawful Daughter administrator of all and singular the goods and ? (chattels) of Francis Greaves late of Bricklehampton inestate(?) to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods chattels and ? ? ? at the hands or possession of the said Elizabeth Greaves in (sovereign Lord King Charles II)
